Playing our part in the local community

Most of the Hine Downing Financial Services team have lived and worked in Cornwall for many years. Our close ties within the local area help us in our professional lives – and they are important to us outside work, as well. Both as a practice and as individuals we take great pleasure in supporting many cultural, maritime and sporting activities.

Both Hine Downing Financial Services and Hine Downing Solicitors are strongly committed to a policy of promoting local organisations and events which have a positive and beneficial impact on the local community. To that end, Hine Downing regularly sponsors a range of ventures including the Royal Cornwall Polytechnic Society, Duchy Opera, Falmouth Art Gallery, Flushing Art week, Falmouth Road Runners and the town’s sports clubs including rugby, football and golf club.

Through the personal interests of various members of the team, we are also involved with many local organisations including Falmouth Cricket Club, Rotary Club of Falmouth, King Charles School, and the local yacht clubs based in Falmouth (Royal Cornwall Yacht Club), Flushing, Mylor, Helford and The Helford River Children’s Sailing Trust.
